Piano and Theory

His interest in music began at a young age. After playing the keyboard, baglama, and classical guitar, he eventually gravitated towards the electric guitar as his primary instrument. Starting from high school, he began playing as a solo guitarist in various groups and performing on stage.

He completed his undergraduate education in the field of Materials Science and Engineering at Anadolu University. During this period in Eskişehir, he started studying solfeggio, piano, and harmony with Emre Çetiner from the opera department. It was during this time that he decided to pursue music further and focused on the piano, studying with Haluk Tarcan for a while.

In 2012, he completed his undergraduate degree and returned to Istanbul, where he joined Ayşe Tütüncü's piano class at the Nazım Hikmet Academy. Additionally, he started studying Modern Harmony with Murat Opus, Music History with Nusret Erdem Karakaş, and Human History with Alaeddin Şenel.

In 2013, he began his master's degree in General Musicology at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Here, he attended classes by prominent instructors such as Filiz Ali, Ahmet Altınel, Aydın Büke, Elif Damla Yavuz, Evrim Hikmet Oğuz, and Erkan Çavdaroğlu. During the same year, he volunteered as a music theory teacher at the Kazım Koyuncu Cultural Center's Kadıköy branch.

Starting in 2014, he began working as an assistant to Murat Opus and took on roles in the establishment and administration of various music academies in different cities, also conducting classes.

In 2018, he, along with Murat Opus, established KentSanat Academy. His general areas of interest include music theory, musical form, composition techniques, harmony, music history, and orchestration. He continues his studies and work in collaboration with Ali Perret, İlyas Mirzayev, and Murat Opus.
