In 2016, he began his education in the Music department at Istanbul Bilgi University. Throughout his educational journey, he studied 16th and 18th-century Music Theory with Yiğit Özatalay, Music History and Midi with Tolga Zafer Özdemir, Composition and Music Philosophy in Studio Environment with Tolga Tüzün, Ensemble with Sumru Ağıryürüyen, Musical Analysis and Composition with Oğuz Usman, and Sound Recording Technologies with Cem Ömeroğlu.

During his time in the Music department, he established his own studio and collaborated with various groups in the genres of Hard Rock, Metal, and Rap, writing songs and participating in recordings. Refraining from defining himself as an "MC," "Songwriter," or "Music Producer," Ömer Altunbaş continues his work under the name "Ahkam" solo, producing works he describes as Industrial Pop Rap.
