Sarp Yolartıran

He started his musical education by learning to play the guitar at the age of 5. He was introduced to the drums in the drum and percussion club in primary school. During this period, he started taking drum lessons from Aytek Karadeniz and Kaan Yenal and successfully completed the LCM Grade 3 certificate program. He continued his individual drum studies until the end of high school. In parallel with his musical development, his interest in Jazz music increased and in the ongoing process, he focused on his studies on Jazz Drums.

 

In 2023, he started taking drum lessons from Sinan Özen at KentSanat Academy and graduated with honors from the LCM Grade 8 certificate program in 2024. With this internationally accredited graduation certificate, he has reached a level where he can teach all over the world. Sarp Yolartıran, who is also a student at Istanbul University Faculty of Architecture, founded the band Anısı Var, which plays cover songs in pop and rock genres, within the university. In the same year, he joined the band Cold Turkey, which has been continuing its music studies for a long time and stands out with its blues and rock'n roll songs. He is currently actively working with various groups that perform in the pop, rock, jazz and blues genres.
