
Halim Ermergen
Bass Guitar and Theory
Having played electric bass guitar since 2014, he studied with Deniz Beydili and Raci Pişmişoğlu during his development on the instrument. Over the same period, he worked with Ozan Erkan on reharmonization; with Murat Opus on music theory, harmony, and composition; with İlyas Mirzayev on composition and orchestration; and with Ali Perret on jazz composition and arranging. He has also been part of KentSanat Academy since its establishment, advancing from being a student to holding an instructor position.
In addition to his instrument, he is deeply involved in the fields of music composition, orchestration, and arranging, and participates in international competitions with his works. He is also pursuing a double-major program between the Departments of History and Political Science & International Relations at Boğaziçi University, and works as a music teacher.
