Barkın Şimşek

He is a musician, composer, lyricist, producer, and arranger based in Istanbul. A graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University's Music Bachelor's Program, Şimşek works with various instruments and in the field of music production, in addition to his main instrument, the alto saxophone.

 

In his work spanning from jazz to pop music, Şimşek combines stage performance, composition, arrangement, and studio work. He has performed at events such as the IKSV Jazz Festival and UNESCO World Jazz Day, and has participated as a saxophone artist in various concert, television, and recording projects. In addition to his own original works released under his own name, he continues to collaborate on projects with different artists and pursue his musical career independently.
