She began her music education at the age of 8, taking violin lessons from Ömür Gören and theory and solfège lessons from Ercan Keseroğlu. Later, she continued her violin studies with Özüm Günöz, receiving training focused on the Suzuki method; in 2018, she performed in Bellapais, Northern Cyprus. Between 2019 and 2022, she was part of the Bosphorus Music Academy, studying violin with Hakan Şensoy and Özüm Günöz, chamber music with Beste Tıknaz Modiri, and vocal performance with Laçin Modiri; she performed in violin, vocal, and chamber music concerts within the academy.

 

Between 2016 and 2020, he served as a member and group leader of the Music for Peace Foundation Youth Orchestra, performing in various concerts throughout Turkey. During the same period, he participated in Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra summer camps, performing in concerts in London, Birmingham, Athens, and Salzburg.

 

Between 2021 and 2023, she performed as principal violinist and soloist with the BAU Music Chamber Orchestra.

 

She graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Music Education in 2025, having started her studies there in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she pursued violin lessons with Özgür Kement. As part of her education, she spent a year at the Kodály Institute, affiliated with the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary, through the Erasmus+ Student Exchange Program. There, she studied various disciplines including solfège and music theory with Edina Barabás, Kodály pedagogy with Zsuzsanna Polyák, chamber music with Zsuzsanna Takáts, and choral music with Anna Fűri; she also participated in contemporary music workshops. Within the institute, she performed in various concerts in Győr, Budapest, and Kecskemét with choral, trio, and string quartet formations.

 

Behin Özer, who has been providing individual instrument lessons and teaching violin at various music institutions since 2021, applies the Suzuki approach in her lessons and continues her work as a violin instructor.
